Roadmap

$NATO’s roadmap is outlined in three phases:

✅ Phase 1: Token Creation and Airdrop (Q4 2024)

• Smart Contract Deployment: We launched and audited the NATO token smart contract on the Base Network.
• Liquidity Pool Creation: We have already allocated 12% of the total supply (120,000,000,000 NATO) to create the liquidity pool on a Uniswap with an initial pairing of $5,000 worth of ETH.
• Airdrop Distribution: We have already distributed 74% of NATO tokens (740,000,000,000) to 1,000,000 active Base Network wallets.
• Community Onboarding: Launch educational resources to help users understand how to claim and use their NATO tokens.

⌛ Phase 2: Community Engagement and Growth (Q1 2025 - Q4 2025)

• Awareness Campaign: Launch global campaigns to raise awareness about NATO and its decentralized ethos.
• Community Rewards: Implement reward programs, distributing 8% of the tokens (80,000,000,000) to incentivize active community participation.
• Governance Establishment: Introduce mechanisms for community decision-making, such as proposals and voting.
• Education: Provide resources to educate participants about using decentralized exchanges, wallets, and participating in governance.
• Partnerships: Collaborate with other DeFi projects, wallets, and exchanges to increase NATO's visibility and utility.

⌛ Phase 3: Long-term Growth and Sustainability (2026 - 2030)

• Liquidity Pool Lock Period: The 12% (120,000,000,000) token allocation for liquidity will remain locked until 1/1/2030.
• Organic Development: Encourage the community to create utilities, such as decentralized applications (dApps), payment solutions, or additional liquidity pools.
• Global Expansion: Promote NATO’s adoption across diverse regions and demographics, focusing on financial inclusion and accessibility.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Explore ways for NATO to contribute to global causes, such as environmental sustainability, education, and charitable initiatives.
• Decentralized Governance: Fully transition decision-making power to the community, allowing token holders to propose and vote on key project decisions.

$NATO has a total supply of 1T tokens. It features a fair token distribution where 74% of its total supply went to airdrops, 12% to the liquidity pool, 8% to community rewards, and 6% to the team.

1) What inspired the idea behind The Nation Token (NATO), and how does it challenge traditional models of ownership and governance in crypto?

To give people the opportunity to come together as a community, by all having an equal share to drive mutual prosperity

2) The project’s slogan is “Power to the People — NATO.” How do you see this token empowering individuals globally?

It offers a fair and equatable opportunity to all token holders to prosper if they work together (with no chance of a rug pull)

3) How does NATO’s governance model work? Will there be voting mechanisms for community-driven proposals?

There is no governance model, the community can come together as they see fit to drive global initiatives and ventures

4) NATO’s airdrop model is one of the most ambitious in the space, targeting 1,000,000 addresses. Why did you choose such a broad distribution, and what impact do you hope this will have?

We targeted one million random addresses for several reasons, the most important of which are achieving widespread adoption and ensuring a significant amount of tokens are owned by the public.

5) You mention community rewards through engagement programs. What specific types of initiatives or campaigns are planned to encourage participation?

We are running a $1500 USD monthly rewards programs to original NATO hodlers and all new token holders

6)You mention potential NFT integration. Could you share any ideas about how NFTs might be used within the NATO ecosystem?

We plan to issue a commemorative NFT "passport" for all the citizens (token holders) later in Q4 this year

7) The roadmap outlines goals up to 2030, including global expansion and sustainability initiatives. What are the key milestones the community should look forward to in the next 1-2 years?

The remaining tokens are locked till 2030, which we hope incentivises holders to hang on to their tokens to see a substantial increase in value over the period
