Billion Dollar Cat ($BDC), or Billy, is a meme coin project built on the Bitcoin blockchain. Although the Bitcoin network does not natively support meme tokens, the emergence of Bitcoin Runes made it possible for projects like $BDC to come to life. The project’s mascot features a cat wearing orange-colored eyeglasses.
Touting itself as the Bitcoin cat, $BDC is poised to unlock meteoric price growth and become the first cat-themed Bitcoin Rune to attain a market capitalization of $1 billion. The project, launched in May 2024, has a total supply of one billion tokens deployed through a fair launch.
